Description

SQLAB 710 handlebar grip - black

Ergonomic grips MTB. MAXIMUM CONTACT SURFACE, SUPPORT AND COMFORT.

The combination of secure grip and comfort was the focus of development of the 710. The preferred area of use is a comfort-oriented mountain bike or a sporty trekking bike. Due to the perfect fit, the bicycle grips cut a good figure in both areas. The scope of delivery includes a set of grips.

Features:

  • The perfect fit for a bicycle grip is crucial for comfort and grip safety. The grip width is the measurement from the tip of the middle finger to the crook of the thumb.
  • The Ergobar – a wave-shaped elevation on the underside of the grip – mirrors the natural contour of bent fingers. This creates a defined edge for the fingers to hold onto, ensuring a secure grip even during sudden braking or quick direction changes.
  • Many conventional comfort grips apply pressure directly to the sensitive carpal tunnel area due to oversized support wings – often leading to numbness in the thumb, index, and middle fingers. Pressure mapping in our in-house SQlab lab shows: conventional grips generate up to 80% of peak pressure in this critical zone.
