CTM SWITCH COMP 29 electric bicycle - green 2024
The MTB electrobike with which you can overcome everything! The Switch flawlessly fits the description “half Enduro / half Trail Bike“. We've taken a chance on the Mullet Bike concept (29“ wheel front / 27.5“ wheel rear). The main advantages of this solution are the 29“ front wheel, which gives precise direction, plus guarantees more stability, and the 27.5“ rear wheel, which guarantees maximum power transfer, traction and especially agility. The frame with its new industrial design offers 150mm of travel and the time-tested FSS virtual suspension system. The geometry is tuned for demanding terrain and technical trails.
Assisted by a Shimano Steps E7000 electric drivetrain and a Shimano BT-8036 battery that has a capacity of 630Wh - this capacity doesn't diminish significantly even after 1000 charge cycles. The battery can also be removed from the downtube and charged off the bike.
The rear suspension is handled by a Rock Shox Deluxe Select+ RT shock. At the front, the Rock Shox 35 SILVER TK, SA fork with 160mm of travel handles the tough terrain. 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain offers a wide gear range. Electrobikes carry some extra weight, especially in the form of the motor and battery, so efficient and extremely strong brakes are required. So we fitted proper anchors - Tektro Orion four-piston brakes with large, 203mm discs. A telescopic EXA Form KSP900 seatpost with the following strokes (M-125mm/L-150mm/XL-170mm) completes the equipment. The WTB Volt saddle brings comfort on long rides.
