The all-new Maxxis Receptor is a semi-slick gravel tyre designed for cycling on pavement, hard-packed dirt roads, and light gravel.

With its low profile center tread, the Receptor rolls easily no matter the surface. Small side knobs provide cornering traction in loose over hard terrain. The semi-slick centre is complemented by shoulder knobs which provide incredible traction on light gravel. The Receptor offers performance which slots neatly between the high volume Velocita slick, and the knobbier Rambler tyre.

Exo Protection

An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tires. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected.
